Mindful Mouthful – Ayurvedic Pulling Oil by Herban Veda

Kavala or Oil Pulling is the ayurvedic tradition of swishing oil around in the mouth first thing in the morning.

This is to be done on an empty stomach before brushing or tongue scraping.

Oil pulling is just what it sounds, pulling the bacteria from the mouth. This is important because the mouth is the beginning of the digestive tract and anything you swallow then travels down into the stomach.

This is good for all constitution types.
